Dukai is a marketplace that lets you order from neighbourhood shops near you. Each order is packed and delivered by the individual shop you bought from, so exact timings and charges are set by that shop. This page explains the default delivery terms that apply unless a shop has published its own.
1. Delivery areas
Most shops deliver within their local serviceable area (typically the same city or a defined set of pincodes). At checkout you can enter your delivery pincode — if a shop cannot deliver to your location it will be shown before you pay.
2. Delivery timelines
- Local / same-city orders: usually delivered the same day or within 1–2 days, depending on the shop's hours and item availability.
- Courier-shipped orders: typically delivered within 3–7 business days after the order is confirmed, depending on your location.
You will receive WhatsApp updates as your order is confirmed, packed, shipped and delivered. Timelines are estimates and may vary on holidays, during high demand, or due to courier or weather delays.
3. Delivery charges
Delivery charges (if any) are set by each shop and are shown clearly at checkout before you pay. Some shops offer free delivery above a minimum order value. For multi-shop orders, each shop's delivery charge applies separately to its own items.
4. Order tracking
Once your order ships you can track it from the order confirmation link sent on WhatsApp, or from My orders in your account. For courier shipments a tracking link is shared as soon as it is available.
5. Delays & failed delivery
If a delivery is delayed or could not be completed (for example, no one available at the address, or an incorrect/incomplete address), the shop will contact you on the number you provided to re-attempt delivery. Please make sure your delivery address and phone number are correct at checkout.
6. Damaged or wrong items on delivery
If your package arrives damaged or contains a wrong item, please refuse the delivery or report it within 48 hours — see our Return policy and Cancellation & refund policy for how this is resolved.
